Join Charm City Cakes decorator and Food Network ‘Cake Masters’ cast member Alyssa as she walks you through the steps in creating this beautiful, life-like edible sugar flower cake design. Students will each receive their own pre-baked 6″ chocolate or vanilla cake filled and crumb coated with vanilla buttercream and covered with white vanilla fondant.
Students will learn the art of making sugar flowers, using sculpting tools and specific cutters, Alyssa will demonstrate how to make gum paste into realistic flowers, airbrushing techniques on decorative leaves, and how to properly adhere flowers onto a cake.
Ages 8 & up. Sunday January 31st 2016 2:00pm -3:30pm. $140 per participant.
