Our awesome East Coast pals over at Big Gay Ice Cream are visiting the West Coast and will be serving up some sweet and tasty treats from their BGIC truck all around the Los Angeles area. They set up shop outside of Cake Mix on Tuesday and they’ll be back on Friday 10/26 from 6:30-11pm. Just head over to the corner of Melrose and Sweetzer Ave in West Hollywood and look out for their colorful truck and a crowd of people having a blast. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this!

Hey all! We have an awesome announcement about our new neighbors.
As you may already know, we have an amazing new spot in West Hollywood. If you happen to live nearby, you might have smelled the sugar wafting out of our building as the decorating team pipes and sculpts finishing touches onto our recent cakes. Up until now we have been keeping it under wraps, but our new neighbor is Duff’s Cake Mix, a place where you can walk in and decorate your own cake to take home and enjoy. We bake it and Cake Mix provides everything you could possibly need to make it your own- from the buttercream and fondant to the the spray booth and oodles of sprinkles.
Having cool neighbors comes with a few perks; one being that we share a joining-wall, designed with large viewing windows. While decorating your cake in Cake Mix you’ll be able to take a peek at the CCCW team doing their thing. Likewise, we’ll be able to catch a glimpse of all the fun cake designs you come up with!

Did you tune in to see this year’s ACM Awards on Sunday April 1st? If you did, you may have seen a very special duet performance of “Marry Me” featuring Martina McBride and Pat Monahan of Train. Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci were the adorable couple who tied the knot on stage during the song. This cake was over 5 feet tall and covered in more than 1,500 sugar flowers. We are so thrilled to have been a part of such a beautiful event and wish the couple all the best for their future together!
